Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React) Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong background in React.js and Java.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating dynamic front-end applications and contributing to the development of back-end services. Your expertise will help enhance our existing integration frameworks, ATSi and Quality Signals and play a crucial role in advancing our technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement features for the ATSi and Quality Signals integration frameworks
• Design and execute both unit and integration tests
• Address monitoring, security, code dependency, and platform modernization
• Collaborate with team members and Product Managers for technical requirement analysis
• Conduct cross-reviews of team members' code
• Engage in team planning, refinement, and review sessions

Requirements

• Proficiency in React with 5+ years of experience
• Solid Java background with 2+ years of experience
• Showcase of engaging in at least 3 projects
• Competency in architectural design patterns
• Strong understanding of coding principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, GRASP, and Clean Code
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DDD, and TDD principles
• Expertise in Microservice architecture design
• Background in using public cloud services, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of Java (11+) in a containerized environment
• Proficiency in Spring frameworks
• Understanding of modern JavaScript/Typescript
• Qualifications in implementing enterprise-level solutions using React
• Knowledge of the Test Pyramid (Unit, Component, Integration, E2E)
• Skills in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
• Flexibility to challenge the status quo and think critically
• Experience in coaching team members

Nice to have

• Familiarity with common AWS services, especially RDS, ECS
• Background in NoSQL and/or Document databases, mostly DynamoDB
• Practical experience with Terraform
• Familiarity with Service Mesh, ideally Hashicorp Consul + Hashicorp Nomad
