Scrum Master Description

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master with a strong project management background for our Financial Services / Investment Management company.

We're focused on creating a top-class Data Platform with Cloud (Azure) integration amidst our ongoing transformation process by introducing SAFe. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in embedding Agile best practices within our teams as we evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scrum team by implementing Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Monitor project timelines
• Identify, track, report on, and escalate project risks
• Engage deeply in daily team and project activities
• Identify and eliminate obstacles, coaching the team on addressing impediments
• Gather and analyze project metrics
• Conduct and optimize the effectiveness of meetings
• Work closely with product owners to manage project scope and backlogs
• Liaise effectively with stakeholders to manage their expectations
• Foster customer satisfaction and address their needs
• Coach the team towards higher levels of scrum maturity
• Offer training to team members as required

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a scrum master or project manager
• Background in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and team collaboration
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and mentoring abilities
• Flexibility in adapting to a dynamic environment
• Motivated and capable of maintaining focus amidst distractions
• Competency in conflict resolution and prevention
• Proficiency in ing Agile/Scrum techniques successfully

• Experience in financial services
