Are you an experienced medical coder with a passion for accuracy and quality in healthcare data? Join our team as a Remote Medical Coder and contribute to the integrity of medical records across Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the Defense Health Agency (DHA). In this role, you'll be essential in ensuring healthcare data precision by providing detailed coding expertise through secure government platforms and EHR systems like MHS GENESIS and 3M Encompass 360.

Key Responsibilities
Accurate Coding: Conduct thorough and precise coding across multiple healthcare domains, strictly adhering to industry regulations and coding standards.
Government Systems Proficiency: Skillfully navigate government computer systems to manage and code health records within DHA's MTF network.
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Accurately enter, verify, and update patient data in EHR platforms, such as MHS GENESIS, 3M Encompass 360, or similar systems.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks to ensure all coding is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with guidelines.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in medical coding.
Certifications: Must hold a CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding certification.
Technical Expertise: Proficient with government systems and experienced in using at least one EHR platform (MHS GENESIS, 3M Encompass 360, or comparable).
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to deliver precise, thorough work in all coding tasks.
Self-Driven: Highly motivated to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Salary: $ 17.00 21.00 Per Hour
