Job Description
Our client, one of the largest residential and commercial service providing company's in North America, is looking for a freelance, Digital Project Manager to help them over the next year to project manage a website redesign project.
This position is fully remote, and will start at about 30-35 hours per week. As the project continues, hours may taper off to 15-20 per week. This is estimated to go through 2025. Experience working with or for a franchise model would be helpful and preferred.
The Digital Project Manager Will Be - help lead the comprehensive rebuild and redesign of our brand website, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of our 375
franchisees who utilize it as their local websites
- managing the project from initial discovery through to the final launch, facilitating requirements gathering, prioritizing features, and maintaining clear communication across corporate and franchisee locations
- aligning stakeholders and ensuring that the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets all operational objectives
- reporting to the VP of Performance Marketing and works closely with the Business Applications
Developer, and agency partners
- focusing on specific functions of the project including; lead discovery phase, project planning, feature prioritization, facilitate communication, roadmap management, status reporting, risk management, budget oversight, documentation, tool utilization, and post-launch evaluation
This Digital Project Manager Will Have - Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- PMP or similar certification preferred
- minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on web development
- must have worked on a large website rebuild with average of 4 Million visitors per year
- experience working on website transformation as well as CRM integration and transitioning
- experience with PM Tools: Proficiency in project management software like Smartsheet, Asana, Trello and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and manage diverse stakeholders, including franchises
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- working knowledge of web technologies, UX/UI design principles, and content management systems
