Black River Design, Architects in Montpelier, VT is seeking a Designer/Draftsperson. This is a long-term career opportunity in a collegial, collaborative, design environment. The successful candidate will have the ability to take the initiative and work efficiently within project deadlines to create review and coordinate design and construction documents.
A creative outlook and experience with Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and hand sketching skills would be assets.
Requirements
• 1 to 3 years of Architectural office experience preferred
• Professional degree or diploma preferred
• Commitment to sustainable design and design excellence
• Strong attention to details, organization, and accuracy
• Experience with commercial construction detailing preferred
• Experience drafting construction documents and specifications
• Familiarity with coordinating consultant drawings
• Effective written and spoken communication skills
• Positive and collaborative attitude

• Revit
• Bluebeam
• MS Office
• Adobe Creative Suite
