Reality Labs brings together experts to develop and ship groundbreaking products at the intersection of hardware, software, and content. We have a clear mandate to ship products at scale.We are seeking someone with proven experience as an Art Director to join the Horizon Experiences team. Required Skills:

Art Director Responsibilities:

Partner with project leads as the representative of art to develop strategy, creative vision, and technological innovation for projects.

Define Art direction in new product experiences aligned with Meta's vision for the metaverse.

Inspire top-tier art execution. This involves not just meeting industry standards, but exceeding them, pushing the boundaries of what's possible and setting new benchmarks.

Effectively influence leaders and key partners across Horizon to gain alignment, communicating with conviction through visual storytelling.

Partner closely with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the quality and user experience.

Work in synergy with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers, and engineers to enhance our products' market appeal, and ensure it resonates with a global audience.

Work cross-functionally, balance the needs of stakeholders, and break down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Industry experience, including shipping at least two AAA titles or complex/ambiguous products as an Art Director.

A robust portfolio showcasing work experience in the gaming, entertainment, or tech industries.

Skilled hands on artist that can adopt different visual styles.

Proven experience in scoping, developing and implementing strategies and plans that increase impact.

Solid working knowledge of pipelines and technical challenges for creating mobile or real-time 3D products.

Up to date with industry news and understand the mixed-reality and Metaverse landscape.

Experience providing direction on visual and content strategy.

Proven presentation skills with cross-functional partners in order to drive positive impact. Communicate complex, sometimes abstract, concepts clearly and persuasively.

Experience developing and shipping games or applications for MR/AR devices.

Experience developing digital content for live events.

Public Compensation:

$149,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
